The tower [140 metres up]
A view from the top
Artwork abounds
A few random shots from Vasco da Gama in Lisbon (or Lisboa if you prefer) - I didn't downsize them, so there may be a short delay

Cool shots again, Joe. What they call artwork nowadays!?! Mon 6-Sep-2004 04:10

another one - all at once would be too much :)

Boca do Inferno
Boca do Inferno, loosely translated as The Mouth of The Devil [it looks a bit evil, doesn't it?]

Yes, but still very beautiful. Wouldn't want to boat there on a stormy night, though Fri 3-Sep-2004 10:47

Ironing board
View all 5 photos...
Is it that time again? OK then, 5 for PQ No 7

1 The book I'm reading now, almost finished, and the next in line [Oliver Twist]
2 An alternative for the TV?
3 I'm not sure how to drive an ironing board, so I left it closed. [You should always let sleeping ironing boards lie]
4 It's a window catch
5 Two DIY jobs I did recently. The emergency lighting system [A torch] fitted in here.
And a halogen light fitting - you know, the kind for which you have to make a hole exactly the right size

The ironing board looks like one of those little space attack ships they had in Star Wars But what is it you've got in the washing machine? Fri 6-Aug-2004 20:20

July Photoquest should be [Will be] here later today - but in the meantime, Isn't this a nice little house?

OK, now. some PQ pics [and some confessions] Firstly the bridge photo. some of you may have seen this before, but it's one of only three bridges in the area, [two of them footbridges] and all have been on my other site before, so I had no choice really. But I've included a view from one of them. And the painting may have been shown before. Anyway, here they all are Oh, and the road - I took another shot of that, but it looked so bare with the flowers gone, so here's one I took earlier

Very nice house, indeed Tue 13-Jul-2004 18:41
