December PQ pics

Mouse-eye view
Part of a TV magazine page
The Present
View all 5 photos...
I thought I'd put them here as and when I get them, so here's the optical illusion [not edited in any way] and the TV page - part of one, anyway. [There are no programmes here that I watch] A little difficult getting the right balance between readability, and fitting the pic to the frame.
(Anybody wanting the large pic of a full page, just ask)
A new pic added today is The Present - but not as yet wrapped - [not a bottle of Soy sauce, btw]
And "Decorations" We probably won't bother with more than this, this year.
And, finally, the chocolate How is it I always feel chocolate should have a capital "C"?
Hmmm, maybe I should have put something else in the pic to show the size

Oh, and I liked the mouse-eye view Fri 10-Dec-2004 11:21

Although I live in Chocolateland I have fond memories of Galaxy. I seem to remember a caramel like tasting chocolate but my memory plays tricks perhaps! Happy Christmas! Wed 22-Dec-2004 08:31

Better late than never

Calendar Girl
I may have been going a little too fast for this shot
Main house phone

Right. I'm a little late this month, forces outwith my control, mostly, but you don't need all the gory details.

OK, then, the kitchen drawer. or, rather, not. All these things are the same the world over, or mostly, anyway. Ours is no exception, so I thought I'd show you a calendar girl instead
The food was stationary, it was me going fast.
The main phone in the house is this cordless - sorry Marisa.
As you can see, or rather, as you can't see, this photo is
This Cow Bell looks better in colour, but, oh, well

KFC is so evil.. but so delicious. I loved the "classified" photo, that was a very creative approach to what I found to be the hardest photoquest item to date. Very good. Thu 2-Dec-2004 03:53

It's pink
The B/W [colour] pic
I don't use it any more [no, really]
View all 6 photos...
The October PhotoQuest submissions from Scotland

Yes - I know - it's pink [it wasn't my choice]

The B/W pic is from a holiday in France several moons ago

The Calculator has been used by almost all the family

The "colours" were possibly intended to be of a scenic nature, but I just happened to spy this display, and I know I won't be shot for having two.

When I absolutely have to write, These are the most likely tools I would use.

And for our member from the frozen north, a bonus "colours" photo [I'm sure she will like this one]

One more from Portugal
View all 7 photos...
A while ago, I took a walk down to a railway station that was supposed to have a carving of an eagle, and young. Well, It was there, but somehow one of the wings had been broken off. I took a pic anyway, and a friend of mine did a repair job for me [digitally, you understand] and I posted the photo on the site I had, at the time, but never got round to telling the story.
Well, the time has come, and I have. So, thanks friend, I really appreciate it.

The new pic is at the bottom

I had a choice - reduce the pics and upload them later, or just show them now, in all their glory [or not] - Guess what choice I made?

Across the road
Tree bark for cork
The Marina at Cascais
View all 6 photos...
OK, I think I'll make this my entry for the September PQ. The story for the pictures goes as follows;
1 Across the road [from the apartments we were staying in]
2 The trees are stripped of their bark for making cork. they will be completely recovered in two years
3 It's the Marina - at Cascais
4 Just thought it was funny
5 Now that looks like a nice place to stay
and 6 - I concentrated on video for this stop, so no stills [but a postcard to show you] This is the most westerly point in continental Europe

Sorry, guys - I just couldn't find any really bad ones

And in what way do you consider these photos failed...? Fri 10-Sep-2004 18:48

Nice pics as always. If these are the failed ones the others must be subilme I've never been to Portugal ... Sat 11-Sep-2004 15:02
