Well, last again. Right, I'll cut to the chase.
1 - The bread [or rolls] we have hot, with soup.
2 - The Exit sign. I had a little bother finding this.
3 - A rack with CD's [the DVD's are in a drawer]
4 - A Hobby. The best I could come up with is snooker, which I play [badly], at a local hall.
5 - Shelves are a rarity in this house. These are some I made to hold more CD's.
And if you look very closely, you'll see I haven't escaped from computers completely.

The Duke
|
|
|
Take a good look, folks. This is likely to be the last photo of the Duke of Wellington, with hat.
Glasgow City Council, in it's wisdom [?] has decreed that the statue must be De-hatted, and must remain that way.
Personally, I believe this to be a Bad Thing. Once the news spreads, visitors will no doubt still go to Glasgow, but some of the fun will have gone.
So I say RIP, Duke, no more will you help to lift the spirits of us mortals.
It's a sad day.

And just while I get that damned elusive pimpernel - err Exit sign here's something for you.
Our Ozzie based friend had a photo of one, and for all of you who didn't see it -
[well, I couldn't just duplicate it, now could I ?]

Right, here are five examples of lamps/lights I encounter on a regular basis. None of which hang from ceilings. I had a quick look at wynâ??s photos, great pics, btw [again] and Lo and Behold â?? we both had the colour changing globes. So, I have now changed that particular photo to, well, one of these.
First up is one of the more important lamps, installed in here, where I work. Its function is to sit in the background until we have a power cut, then it will activate, allowing me to locate my torch/lantern. [not pictured here]
The second photo is also from this room.
Walking down the hall, we see a wall light. This we prefer to have on rather than the harsh-ish overhead light [no, not fluorescent fittings]
Anyway, the next photo is a table lamp [not on a table, btw] and the last one is in the kitchen. An under the wall cabinets thingy for added illumination. Added, that is, to the other five lights in there. This particular light is brighter than it appears here though, and if necessary can be used without the need for the others to be on.
